Michael Abbott, Jr.

 
 
Michael Abbott, Jr.  (Pedant in The Taming of the Shrew; Chambers in Pudd’nhead Wilson; Cassio in Othello) is a proud native of Tennessee and graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.  He created the role of Meagles in the Tom Cole / John Dillon premiere of Dickens’ Little Dorrit.  Other credits include Ivor Morgan in Gerald Freedman’s revival of A Time for Singing A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Golden Boy, Lonestar, Equus, The Boys Next Door, Richard III, and The Shaughraun, directed by Barry Kyle.  Michael has performed his one-man Tribute to Elvis across the U.S. including the Sony Records 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Kennedy Center. He wishes to thank his parents and Tarah for love and support.
